Matthew Bloom is a full-stack game & web developer & designer located in Boston, MA, with almost a decade of experience in programming, scripting, audio design and visual design. Strong creative thinking skills with an eye for detail and immense drive to succeed and move things forward.

Graduated from New York University with an undergraduate degree in Integrated Design & Media. Graduated from Northeastern University with a Master’s Degree in Game Design. Currently studying at Northeastern University for a second Master’s Degree in Computer Science, but intending to apply for an interdisciplinary PhD program so that he may divert his studies into his interest in human cognition as it pertains to game/computer science.

I believe that the way the human mind responds to certain stimuli delivered by video games should be studied and can bring extreme merits to the fields of psychology, AI, and development.

Currently working in MIT’s medical pavilion, studying and testing the methodology of cell integration using highly experimental code and AI.

Interests include game design, web design, audio design, studying psychology, scripting and script writing. Hobbies include martial arts, reading, making music, creative writing, playing video games, learning new tabletop card games, and long walks.
