This prototype project was completed for an Exploratory Concept Design course as part of a project on political art.

Anti-homeless benches are a political decision that explicitly attacks an extremely marginalized aspect of our society. It is wrong to pretend that the homeless don’t exist and that they don’t deserve our help and our sympathy. Putting bars on benches solves nothing and only makes their already difficult lives harder.
